David enjoys traveling, reading, and swimming during his leisure time. He can speak English, Mandarin, Taiwanese, and Korean.

Before coming to Pittsburgh, he lived in Taipei and Seoul. He has also traveled to Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, South Korea, Canada, France, and the United Kingdom.
